After the death of Usama, the government refused to pay the reward. Who is Osama Bin Laden?
Osama Bin Laden was the founder of the terrorist organization Al Qaeda who was born in a wealthy family in Saudi Arabia.With his organization Al Qaeda, he led a series of attacks in multiple countries that killed innumerable ordinary citizens. Bin Laden’s goal was to make a pioneer of elite fighters who could risk their lives and lead the global jihad project. He also dreamed of bringing together all small jihadist groups who were struggling at that time.

There were four attacks carried out by al-Qaeda terrorists. They used hijacked commercial airplanes to complete the attacks. Here’s a breakdown of the four attacks:
- First Attack was made from the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City at 8:46 AM with American Airlines Flight 11. The plane crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center, causing a massive explosion and fire. The building eventually collapsed.
- The second attack was made from the South Tower of the World Trade Center After almost 20 minutes from the first attack. After the attack the tower also collapsed shortly after.
- The third attack happened just 30 minutes from the second attack in The Pentagon Tower, Arlington, Virginia. The tower was situated in the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense. It caused a massive significant structural damage.
- The last attack happened at 10:03 AM in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. It is assumed that this plane was headed for the Washington, D.C., White House. Passengers on the plane fought against the hijackers and it prevented massive destruction.
How many deaths was Bin Laden responsible for?
Bin Laden was responsible for so many attacks such as,
1.9/11 Attacks,
Deaths: Nearly 3000.
2.1998 U.S. Embassy Bombings
Deaths: Over 200
3.2000 USS Cole Bombing.
Deaths: 17 U.S. sailors.
Under Bin Laden's leadership al-Qaeda made numerous terror attacks. So exact numbers are difficult to determine. But it is clear that he is responsible for killing innumerous numbers of ordinary people.
Killing Mission for Osama.
The mission to kill Bin Laden is known as Operation Neptune Spear. The location was Abbottabad, Pakistan. The place was unusually secured and isolated, which aroused suspicion. The mission was mainly assigned by the U.S. Navy SEALs and DEVGRU but this was supported by the US military.
May 2, 2011 Two Modified Black Hawk helicopters landed on Abbottabad.The mission aimed to capture Bin Laden alive,he was located on the third floor of the compound. After a brief gunfight Bin Laden was shot and killed.
What was Pakistan's reaction to the Bin Laden raid?
The Pakistani government was shocked and dismayed by the raid. They condemned the raid as a violation of its sovereignty. So the raid made significant diplomatic tension between the U.S. and Pakistan.
